Description: Hiring process includes a profile review and an interview with the unit manager. The department has three scanners: two GE and one Siemens. No floating or covering of other areas is required. Common types of imaging performed are general CT scans. The average number of scans per day ranges from 20 to 30. The electronic medical record and picture archiving communication system used is EPIC and Fuji Synapse. The department does not utilize Registered Radiology Assistants. There are no in-house radiologists. Clinicians are expected to complete weekend shifts as part of their schedule. Call requirements include two shifts per month. The dress code consists of navy blue tops and black pants. Department-specific orientation is mandatory. Cancellations can occur up to four shifts for a 13-week assignment.
