Radiologist

Eastern Kansas Healthcare System is looking for two full-time radiologists to join their teams at the Leavenworth KS VA and the Topeka KS VA. Practice Info

• Operates within the Eastern Kansas Health Care System (EKHCS), including the Colmery-O'Neil VAMC and/or the Dwight D. Eisenhower VAMC
• Provides comprehensive medical care to over 41,000 Veterans across 39 counties in Kansas and Missouri
• Anchored by the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center in Leavenworth and the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center in Topeka
• Offers 4-star CMS-rated inpatient, surgical, and psychiatric care

Responsibilities

• Provides a full spectrum of image interpretation, image-guided procedures, and patient care services within the specialty of Diagnostic Radiology
• May possess additional subspecialty expertise
• Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement
• Provides oversight of technical quality
• Engages in education of staff and trainees
• Participates in committee assignments
• Supports telehealth and remote workflows as applicable, including consultation or interpretation via telehealth platforms as needed
• Engages in other activities that support clinical operations and the mission, values, and goals of the VA and the Medical Center

Compensation

• Salary: $325,000-$400,000

Qualifications

• Maintains required licensure and board certification as per VA policy
• Supports credentialing and privileging processes
