nGENERAL SUMMARY:
nUnder the direction of a Radiologist, performs Radiologic procedures for the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by a physician. Performs related functions according to department protocols. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
nHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
nMust maintain the required hours of continued education.
nCERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
nMust be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible.
nIf registry is eligible, registry must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire.
nHealthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
