Radiation Therapy Coordinator
Our client, a leading health system in Lakewood, CO, is seeking a Radiation Therapy Coordinator to administer individualized radiation therapy treatments and perform clinical simulations, while assuming twenty-four-hour responsibility for departmental operations to ensure quality, cost-effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Supervises therapist activities.
- Delivers prescribed planned courses of radiation therapy to patients.
- Maintains quality of portal verification on each patient according to department standards.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
- Maintains the environment of care, including Quality Assurance tests on equipment, room preparation, and supplies.
- Proficiently uses EMR and patient data management systems to accurately input changes, record treatments, and patient data.
Requirements
- Required**
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Registered Radiation Therapist
- Completion of an ARRT approved school of Radiation Therapy
- Five (5) years experience in Radiation Therapy
- Preferred**
- Two (2) years in leadership/management position

$39.52 - $68.67/hour
