Quality Technician / Inspector - Setup OperatorNesco Resource is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician / Inspector - Setup Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Rochester, NY. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for candidates with quality inspection experience who are proficient in reading blueprints, using precision measuring instruments, and maintaining quality documentation. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring products meet customer and engineering specifications throughout the manufacturing process while supporting production setup activities and continuous quality improvement.$20.00 - $25.00/Hour (Based On Experience)Full-Time 7:00am - 3:30PM M-FJob DutiesPerform receiving, first article, in-process, and final inspections on raw materials and finished productsInspect parts using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMMs, and optical inspection equipmentVerify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standardsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentationCompile inspection reports, material certifications, and customer quality documentationRecord inspection results and maintain quality records in internal databases and quality management systemsIdentify, document, and report product non-conformancesSupport production setup activities as directed by the Quality ManagerEnsure inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintainedWork closely with production personnel to resolve quality concerns and improve manufacturing processesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentSupport continuous improvement initiatives and follow all company quality and safety proceduresRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment requiredProficient in the use of precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and height gaugesExperience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) preferredAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specificationsFamiliarity with common machine shop equipment and manufacturing processesStrong mathematical skills, including fractions, decimals, and measurement conversionsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to learn new technologies and quality systems quicklyAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentReliable attendance and commitment to quality and safety standardsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.
