Olympic Steel offers employees the best of both worlds: the culture and community of a closely connected team with the resources, opportunity and stability of a large, growing organization.Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for quality assurance checks and inspections on manufactured parts.Complete inspections and sort materials that are able to be re-processedReview defective materialComplete calibrations and visual quality assurance assessmentsCoordinate with quality assurance team for customer and supplier claimsAssist with quality auditsPay Range: $24.00 - $26.00 per hourQualificationsKnowledge of divisional machining processes and capabilitiesKnowledge of divisional manufactured parts & customer baseExperience working with stainless steel materials and processing preferredKnowledge of gage calibration systems and gage calibrationsHigh level of attention to detailHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ year of experience on Company production floor or a similar environmentOlympic Steel offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision benefits; paid holidays and vacation; a 401(k) match; tuition reimbursement; and various opportunities to earn cash bonuses.
