Quality In-Process Inspector (2nd Shift)

Quality InspectorWorking without supervision, perform quality inspection tasks of levels of complexity, as well as demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills and deep product knowledge. Quality inspectors provide insight into developing inspection processes for new work. This position calls upon advanced knowledge of shop math, print reading, and quality reporting.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:First Article complete form knowledgeFilling out AS9102 Rev CWork safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.Performs Trouble shooting on Test MachinesProgram Keyence and able to trouble shootAssist in coordinating for Quality Department needsEnsures tools / equipment meet standard and calibration requirements.Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.Required Skills:The ability to read and write English.Advanced Trouble Shooting SkillsAdvanced Shop MathAdvanced Print ReadingDeep knowledge of Product & Customer SpecificationThe ability to use complex gaugesThe ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - computer skillsMechanical Testing experience (shear, tension, spindle retention etc)Willing and able to work overtime and weekends as business needs demand
