Duties of the Quality Control Engineer:
- Evaluate the quality control process
- Test products, systems, and procedures
- Create documentation on quality and safety
- Work with production teams and customers to resolve issues
- Perform hands-on work within the QA labs
Requirements of the Quality Control Engineer:
- 2+ years of experience as a quality engineer
- Knowledgeable in root cause analysis and statistical analysis
- Understanding of process or mechanical engineering
- Strong print reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience in creating, issuing, and completing tasks related to returned materials, customer complaints, and NCRs
- Familiarity with the PPAP process and report writing based on results
