Base pay range

$135,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr

Lead Account Manager | Direct Placement | Food, Beverage, and Consumer Goods Manufacturing

Our client is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager for their manufacturing plant in Delaware.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the Quality and Sanitation Department’s daily operations
• Implementing and executing quality and food safety programs
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of 35+ FTE Quality and Sanitation team
• Coordinating the local HACCP Team and partnering with Corporate Quality and Food Safety
• Leading all customer, regulatory, and third-party quality and food safety audits
• Investigating and responding to consumer and customer complaints
• Managing the non-conformance process
• Leading validation of all changes in manufacturing process
• Supporting new product and process trials and launches
• Being a member of the Plant Leadership Team
• Owning the budget for lab supplies, labor, general supplies, lab services, and pest control
• Ensuring compliance with GMP’s, SOPs, Corporate Programs & Training

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology or related degree required.
• 5+ years of Quality Management experience in food manufacturing
• Experience with sanitation oversight
• Strong knowledge of FDA/PCQI/SQF/GFSI
• HACCP certification
