Essel Skilled Trades is hiring QA/QC inspectors for large data center construction projects. You'll inspect electrical and mechanical installs, test equipment against spec, and keep quality records in order ahead of startup.
What you'll do:
- Inspect electrical and mechanical installs against drawings and specs
- Test installed equipment and keep testing gear calibrated
- Photograph, log and report deficiencies, then re-check once fixed
- Keep inspection reports, checklists and non-conformance records current
- Give daily progress updates to the site supervisor
Must-haves:
- 3–5 years in QA/QC, inspection, commissioning, or electrical/mechanical construction
- Able to read construction drawings and specs
- Working knowledge of test equipment; comfortable with Excel and Microsoft Office
- US citizen
- Able to travel 75%+ of the time
- Must pass background check, drug screen, and driving record check
Pay: $32–$60/hr, depending on experience
