QA ManagerThe QA Manager is responsible for leading and scaling the quality assurance strategy across engineering teams, with a strong emphasis on test automation, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. This role provides strategic leadership in QA practices while overseeing the work of QA engineers and ensuring consistent quality standards are applied through all stages of the software development lifecycle. The QA Manager works closely with product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders to define and drive a culture of quality across the organization.The QA Manager defines, implements, and manages the overall quality strategy, including automation, manual testing, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. They lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers across multiple Scrum teams, ensuring consistent execution and delivery. They collaborate with Engineering and Product leadership to align testing priorities with business goals. They oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable test automation frameworks and CI/CD integrations. They establish and monitor quality metrics and KPIs to report on testing effectiveness and product health to leadership. They champion testing best practices, including shift-left testing, test-driven development, and robust exploratory testing. They identify gaps in coverage, tooling, or process and proactively implement solutions. They conduct regular code and test reviews, ensuring high standards and alignment with QA practices. They drive initiatives for test data management, performance testing, and environment stability. They maintain compliance with industry standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. They cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation within the QA team. They participate in Agile ceremonies and cross-departmental planning as a senior technical stakeholder. They are responsible for adherence to the Judi Health Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.Minimum qualifications include 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a QA leadership or management role. A strong background in the healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or health insurance industries is required. Proven success in building and scaling test automation strategies across large or complex applications is necessary. Demonstrated experience with front-end automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) and scripting in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript is required. Hands-on experience with middleware/API testing, SQL, and Linux/Unix systems is needed. Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and integration of testing frameworks into deployment pipelines is essential. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to influence at all levels, are required.

Experience managing geographically distributed teams and remote-first collaboration is necessary.
