You will lead the design, development, and execution of scalable automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality, secure, and compliant software delivery. You will partner closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to improve automation coverage, increase release efficiency, and reduce production defects.Quality Engineering Leadership & DeliveryLead QA automation efforts across the full SDLC: design, build, test, deploy, and operateDefine and implement scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend systemsDrive automation standards, coding practices, and framework consistency across teamsLead test planning, execution strategy, and defect management processesEnsure alignment with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery modelsTest Automation Strategy & ExecutionDesign, build, and maintain automated regression and integration test suitesEvaluate and standardize automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Tosca) across applicationsIdentify automation candidates and prioritize high-impact test scenariosIntegrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testingDrive improvements in automation coverage, execution speed, and reliabilityFintech-Specific Quality & Risk ManagementEnsure applications meet financial regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS)Validate secure handling of sensitive data within test processesPartner with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure audit readinessContribute to risk mitigation strategies through proactive quality engineeringCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Product, Development, and Infrastructure teams to embed quality into deliveryCollaborate with distributed QA teams to drive automation adoption and consistencyCommunicate testing strategies, risks, and results to stakeholders and leadershipSupport enterprise-level quality initiatives and transformation effortsOperational ExcellenceImprove system quality by reducing defect leakage into productionSupport root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiativesEnhance test data management, environment stability, and execution reliabilityDrive efficiency through automation, DevOps, and process optimizationRequired QualificationsMust have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5+ years of QA experience with 3+ years focused on automationStrong experience with automation tools such as Tosca, Selenium, or similarProficiency in programming languages (Java, C#, Python, or equivalent)Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) and automation frameworksStrong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practicesHands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques in testing (e.g., intelligent test generation, self-healing scripts, predictive defect analysis, or AI-assisted test automation tools)Proven ability to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable automation solutionsPreferred QualificationsExperience in financial services or regulated environmentsFamiliarity with test management tools (e.g., qTest)Experience with SQL/database validation and data-driven testingExposure to performance and security testingExperience working in distributed or global QA teamsExperience with tools such as GitLab, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar platformsKey Success FactorsGrowth in automated test coverage across applicationsReduction in manual testing effort and execution timeImproved release quality and reduction in production defectsAdoption of standardized automation frameworks across teamsContribution to enterprise automation maturity and efficiency goals
