Platform Engineer (Sr or Lead)Experience building automation/configuration management infrastructure such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, and/or PuppetExperience leveraging Docker within a local development workflowExperience with deployment of production code leveraging Docker containersStrong background in Linux administration and network administrationStrong background in Java and scripting languages like Python, Perl, and/or RubyExperience using cloud services (AWS and Azure preferred); public cloud IaaS and PaaS servicesExperience with large-scale distributed systems architectures. Examples include Java/Spring Boot, CQRS, event streaming, Kafka, SparkKnowledge in databasesStrong understanding of Continuous Delivery and Integration frameworks including deployment automation, configuration management, test, and source code/git repositories; experience with containers desiredExperience using Git and continuous delivery build systems (build/test/release infrastructure, Jenkins preferred)Experience and preference for working within an Agile/Scrum environmentKnowledge of core internet protocols including, but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPKnowledge of network administration including, but not limited to Load balancers, VLAN, IP sub netting, proxies and firewalls, architecture, and core technologies (DNS, routing, iptables etc.)Experience supporting LDAP services in an enterprise environment
