The ideal candidate is highly experienced in designing large-scale data intensive applications with particular proven track record in microservice development. The candidate needs to be passionate about technical detail, must be highly motivated, intellectually curious, and analytical.Role:Redesign the backlend and microservice architecture currently in productionOptimize scheduling and implement event-driven architectureRevisit current REST architectureImprove parallelization where possible to improve throughputImprove fault tolerance, logging and restartability.All About You:Expert Python programmer in a Unix environmentProven track record in ML pipeline design including LSF and NiFiExperience in designing large-scale data-intensive applicationsParallel programming experience with Python in UnixCorporate Security Responsibility:Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practicesEnsure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessedReport any suspected information security violation or breachComplete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelinesOpen to H1B/OPT EAD/H1B transfers. For GC/USC/H4 EAD they should be local to MO.
There would be a Glider test. They must be strong in PYTHON. LOCALS ONLY AND MUST be in the office 5 DAYS A WEEK.
