Key Responsibilities:Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, valves, and related equipmentPerform preventive and predictive maintenance on water booster stations, wastewater lift stations, and treatment facility equipmentDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues using specialized testing and diagnostic toolsDisassemble, rebuild, install, and align pumps and rotating equipmentReplace bearings, seals, couplings, and other mechanical componentsSupport the installation and startup of new pumps, motors, controls, and system upgradesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawingsComplete work orders, maintenance records, and inspection reports accuratelyRespond to emergency repairs and equipment breakdowns as neededFollow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and PPE requirementsWhat We're Looking ForHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years of experience maintaining pumps, motors, or industrial mechanical equipmentValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to work outdoors and in various environmental conditionsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in water, wastewater, utilities, industrial, or municipal environmentsKnowledge of lift stations, booster stations, and treatment plant equipmentExperience with motor controls, VFDs, and electrical troubleshootingTechnical school training or mechanical maintenance certificationKnowledge & SkillsWe're looking for someone who:Enjoys solving mechanical problemsUnderstands pumps, motors, seals, bearings, and hydraulic systemsCan troubleshoot equipment failures independentlyWorks safely and efficientlyCommunicates effectively with team members and customersTakes pride in delivering reliable serviceWhy Join Us?Meaningful Work: Your efforts help ensure communities have access to safe drinking water and reliable wastewater services every day.
