We value and reward hardworking, creative, and dedicated employees that desire to be part of a team committed to outstanding customer service.START YOUR CAREER NOW.The Pump Technician is responsible for the repair, assembly and disassemble of downhole pumps.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with hands and wrenches, threaders, ball and seat testers, plunger miches, and barrel michesBuild well files per customers' fieldsPrepare detailed reports and track trends to recommend changes in material and design to improve pump run and lower customer costsRemedy chronic failuresDevelop a system to double check pump components as to correct make up as to not be over tightened or looseForecast parts usage and work with suppliers to stay abreast of new technologyLearn and understand the different pump designs for gaseous, sandy and corrosive fluidsJOB REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma and/or equivalent.Solid mechanical knowledge and mathematical backgroundExperience with / Knowledge of: Pumping Well mechanics, Stroke lengths, Corrosion of metal parts, Gas / Oil interface, H2S, Scale, Iron sulfide ProblemsKnowledge of down hole and work over termsExperience with rod string sizes, down hole tubing sizes and rod spacingOrganizational, problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to lift up to 50lbs.Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR at all timesCommunication skills, both written and oral, with DNOW field personnel and customersAbility to move, disassemble and re-assemble long, sometimes heavy, down hole pumpsAbility to work without supervision and possibly at a customer's locationBENEFITS:Competitive Salary + bonus401(k)/ Retirement savingsComprehensive Benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage)Career growthFriendly work environmentPaid vacation/holidays
