Psychiatrist

A thriving practice in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking a Psychiatrist to join their team. The ideal candidate will hold a current unrestricted California medical license and be available to work Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility. This role offers the opportunity to provide 100% outpatient care, focusing on patient diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing monitoring.

• 100% outpatient setting

Responsibilities

• Seeing 4-12 patients per day
• Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results
• Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patients
• Make diagnoses when different illnesses occur together or in situations where the diagnosis may be obscure
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients
• Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
• Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary

Compensation

• $250K plus production bonus
• Malpractice coverage by the organization

Shift & Schedule

• Available to work Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM but open to flexible schedule with the psychiatrist
• Hours are flexible pending your schedule

Requirements

• Current unrestricted California medical license
• Psychiatrist must be open to multiple treatment plan approach to mental health
• Psychiatrist must be open to seeing children
• Board Certified Psychiatrist is preferred
