Principal Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in a hospital-based clinic setting.
- Deliver medication management and ongoing psychiatric care for adult patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary behavioral health professionals across the continuum of care.
- Support high‑quality, patient‑centered psychiatric treatment planning and follow‑up.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
- Contribute to a collegial practice environment focused on access, continuity, and clinical excellence.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree – completion of an accredited psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program.
- Experience working independently in mental health and addiction strongly preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing required upon hire.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner – ANCC certification within specialty required upon hire.
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner required.
- BLS Tier 2 – Multisource required within 180 days.
- DEA license required upon hire.
Physical Demands
- Medium Work*:
- Lift weight up to 32 lbs occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs frequently.

1.0 (clinic open Monday – Friday with daytime hours)
Contact Hours
32‑36 hours per week for 1.0 FTE. Option to work from home part time depending on preference.
Pay Range
$148,835 to $177,500 per year (starting base pay range, assuming a full‑time FTE). Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, and union agreement (if applicable).
