Nightwing brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets.Nightwing is looking for an on-site Proposal Manager to lead the preparation of compliant, compelling proposals of varying size and low complexity, classified and unclassified.  This role works with multiple operational and functional areas to plan, develop and improve customer-facing proposals. In this role, the person is responsible for guiding and directing the pursuit team throughout the proposal development process while implementing and adhering to proposal development best practices. As a player-coach, the Proposal Manager contributes to the proposal by drafting, editing, and proofreading the proposal to ensure the response is compliant and compelling.Proposal Manager Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure the timely submission of compliant and compelling proposalsCollaborate internally and externally (team members and consultants) to develop compelling offeringsFacilitate strength-based win strategy planning and implementationCreate and track overall and volume level compliance matricesCreate detailed, comprehensive proposal schedules and timelinesAssign and track taskings to ensure clear roles and responsibilitiesLead the planning, development and refinement of proposal contentWork with subject matter experts to understand project goals and objectivesLead and contribute in content planning, solutioning and strategyResearch and gather information to support proposal contentDevelop and maintain proposal templates and guidelinesPerform Proposal Coordination activities to facilitate proposal operationsProvide proposal development training in accordance with industry best practicesTrack and report on proposal submissions and outcomesProposal Manager Requirements and QualificationsMust have 10 years of experience supporting proposal and business activitiesMust have experience leading low complexity efforts as a Proposal Manager Must be able to step in and support volume writers with content creation Experience using collaboration software, such as SharePointManagement and leadership skills are critical in this positionExperience in a leadership role, preferably in support of a government contract Knowledge of industry-specific requirements and standardsKnowledgeable in Shipley methodologies and practicesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience working with and leading cross-functional teamsAbility to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projectsActive TS/SCI ClearanceMust be able to travel throughout the WMA as requiredTravel up to 10% may be required outside the WMADesired:APMP CertificationExperience using SalesForceActive TS/SCI with PolygraphSalary & BenefitsThe salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
