Proposal DeveloperThe Proposal Developer is responsible for developing winning proposals for healthcare staffing and homecare services in response to solicitations (RFPs, IFBs, RFQs, etc.) from various agencies of federal and local governments and commercial healthcare organizations, in support of our nationwide sales force.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Conducts bid analysesWrites, edits, formats, and produces low- to high-complexity proposal documents within given deadline/timeframeManages the proposal processFacilitates post-submission requirements such as Discussion Items, Clarifications, and BAFOsWorks collaboratively with account teams and corporate leadershipManages multiple projects and uses effective project management tools such as proposal plans, schedules, and outlinesSupports the proposal department, Accounts Managers, and senior management in creating and maintaining a process for the evaluation and submission of proposals, by reviewing the proposal guidelinesMaintains tracking and information database(s)Participates in department meetings, initiatives, and/or projectsLeads special projectsPerforms other duties as assigned/necessaryMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent related experienceOne to three years of direct proposal, grant, plan or marketing writing experience required for basic level of positionDemonstrated ability to write technical or creative prose; writing test/sample(s) requiredProficiency creating formatted proposals in MS Word and using internet tools to support content developmentPractical use of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe WriterExposure to, and/or willingness to learn, MS MapPoint and VisioAbility to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills required; proficiency in the English language may be required
