Property Book ClerkThe Property Book Clerk is responsible for assisting in the effective and efficient management of all government furnished and company acquired assets for assigned program or department consistent with customer requirements, government regulations, and policies and procedures. They also assist in the planning, development, and execution of logistics program activities, including ILS, technical documentation, provisioning, etc.Job Duties:Serve as a GCCS-Army technical expert and principal representative regarding property accountability.Analyze support trends, resolves any adverse trends/reports and then implements corrective actionsConduct GCCS-Army property book activities (i.e., researching, cataloging, posting, editing, and filing) for all property book documentation.Establish, document, and execute processes and procedures to ensure property accountability. In addition, the contractor shall generate progress reports, after action reports, and other logistics information.Contact customers and prepare issue slips of lateral transfer documentation to ensure property accountability of transferred equipment.Monitor the acquisition, storage, utilizations, transfer, and disposal of propertyEnsure inventories are scheduled and performed as required by the contract.Responsible for reporting and reviewing information provided during the investigation of lost, damages, destroyed government-furnished parts and property as applicableParticipate in all fielding activities to ensure proper accountability to fielded assets and transition to fielded units in addition to assets not transitioned to units.Serve as an active team player, ensuring overall success of the mission.Qualifications:HS Diploma4-5 years of experience in property accountabilityExperience in government or civilian property management with prior leadership/managerial experienceMilitary background preferredProficient with Microsoft applications (i.e.

Outlook, Word, Excel)Experience in a high volume, global supply chain management environmentAdvanced knowledge of government property, acquisition, receiving, identification, records, movement, storage, physical inventories, reporting, consumption, utilization, maintenance, subcontracts, disposition, and close-outsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsSecurity Requirements:Must be a US CitizenMust be able to pass a National Criminal Background CheckActive Secret Security Clearance required
