This position will work from our East Memphis office and will work closely with Community Directors and other accounting staff.To ensure Silver Tree Residential, LLC gets the best candidates, we offer a competitive salary and benefit package. The right candidate will enjoy an office environment with a casual dress code, FREE comprehensive insurance package, gym membership with trainers, in-office chef-prepared lunches and many other perks!Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prepare and reconcile bank statements for each propertyPost monthly journal entries to ensure accurate financial reportingPrepare and maintain monthly financial statements in compliance with state laws, regulations, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Review and process weekly property invoices for accuracyManage vendor payments based on due dates and available cash flowMonthly financial report review, supporting the Accounting Managers/CAO/CFOWorking with assigned accountants to train as neededProvide support in various aspects of property accounting as neededAssist with special projects and other accounting-related tasks as assignedQualified candidates will have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldAt least 3 years general ledger accounting experienceStrong attention to detailSavvy computer skillsOrganization and the ability to multitaskExcellent communication skillsExperience in property accounting is a PLUS
