Property Accountant

Please note that this role will be 100% onsite in Denver, CO for the first 90 days at least. After your initial training, you will be allowed to work 2 days per week from home.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Property Accountant job in Denver, CO. To qualify, you must have at least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role. You must also have previous experience with Yardi software.

This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $70,000 and $95,000 annually. You will also be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package (details below) and a performance-based bonus.

Responsibilities:

-Managing full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties

-Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

-Running monthly financial reports

-Maintaining balance sheets

-Researching and resolving transaction discrepancies

-Preparing and entering journal entries

-Reconciling accounts

-Preparing for audits

-All other related tasks as required

Qualifications:

-At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role

-Previous experience with Yardi required

-Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

-Previous experience in a multi-entity company preferred

-Excellent attention to detail

-Excellent analytical skills

-Excellent organizational skills

Compensation:

-Annual base salary between $70,000 and $95,000

-Eligibility for performance-based bonus

-2 weeks of paid time off to start

-401(k) program with 4% company match

-Medical, dental and vision insurance (90% covered by company)
