Project SuperintendentPacific Ridge Builders, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to manage the field execution of commercial construction projects. This position works closely with the General Superintendent and Project Managers to complete projects on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality.ResponsibilitiesImplement and report results of the on-site execution of job plan, developed with Project Manager and General SuperintendentOrganize and lay out project site logistics such as; signage, site security, etc.Manage and publish project schedule on a weekly basisCoordination of RFI's, submittals, and plansRun weekly project meetings with subcontractorsAttend weekly project meetings with client and design partnersPromote job site safety by implementing and enforcing the company's safety policies and proceduresDevelop job site safety plan in collaboration with General SuperintendentResponsible for running weekly jobsite safety meetingsConsistently scanning the job site for any safety concerns or violations, taking immediate action to address any safety issuesProvide detailed daily logs of progress in Autodesk (breakdown of subcontractors' on-site activities) for General Superintendent and Project ManagerManage changes in project scope and schedulePromote and implement PRB procedures to ensure that jobsite safety, quality product, and schedules are maintainedAttend punch walk meetings upon project completion and assists in project close-outsBuild and maintain a great reputation with subcontractors, current and future clients, and other industry professionalsExperience & Skills5+ years of experience as a commercial construction SuperintendentPast project experience includes work in various commercial marketsHas working knowledge of the sequencing of commercial construction work, as well as ability to read and understand construction drawings and specificationsKnowledgeable in building foundations, structural framing, mechanical, engineering, and plumbing systems and the interaction between those systemsUnderstands fire, sprinkler, alarm and safety systems and how they fit into the construction processFamiliar working in Class A occupied buildingsAbility to organize and track multiple small scale projects, if neededHolds impressive safety recordExperience overseeing self-performed workAbility to complete projects with a sense of urgencyEye for quality of workmanship, holding a high standard of craftsmanship, accountability and overall project successHas strong verbal and written communication skillsDedicated to task completionSelf-starter and problem solverProficient in MS OfficeExperience using Microsoft Project is preferredExperience using project management software in the field, specifically knowledge of Autodesk or Procore is preferredEducation & CertificationsOSHA 30 preferred, otherwise certification provided during trainingLEED Green Associate accreditation or higher a plusAA or Bachelor's degree preferredValid Driver License requiredCompensationBase Salary Depends on experience.
