Data ArchitectThis posting is for a 'Data Architect' with primary skills of ETL using SSIS, knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling along with EPIC experience. The position is for a client located in California and the candidate should be flexible to accommodate the PST working hours when needed.Required qualifications:Minimum of 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing data models and data normalization to support analytics with strong knowledge of dimensional modeling conceptsMinimum of 7+ years of data engineering and data warehousing experience designing and building data warehouses, data marts, data lakes, ETL packages using SSISMinimum of 7+ years data modeling experience in healthcare data and related data domainsMinimum of 7+ years of experience with Epic Clarity and/or Caboodle data modelsOne or more Epic CertificationsPreferred qualifications:Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with Health Catalyst product offerings, including data warehousing solutions, knowledgebase, and analytics solutionsDirect development management experience leading Agile teams – not as a PM, looking for a development manager with program leadership skills, not a project manager with dev leadership skillsData engineering experience with health care data – looking for someone who has experience extracting, transforming, and loading health care claims, member and provider dataImplementation experience – Implementations are different that pure software dev processesClient relationship/communication skills – this individual will be interacting directly with Optum’s clients and needs to have excellent communication and presentation skillsSolid and creative under pressure – these implementations are fraught with challenges and every one is unique – the candidate needs to thrive in an uncertain, ever-changing environmentCultural fit – Aggressive leadership is needed, but also genuine interest in employees wellbeing, teamwork mentality and life balance is needed to fit in with local cultureRequired Skills: Need SSIS and Data warehousing · Data modeling and data mart knowledge · Epic experience is required Pulling data from Epic and loading it into the data warehouse Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: Background Check: Yes Drug Screen: Yes Notes: · Candidate will work PST hours · Straight contract Provider health system, and pulling data from Epic.
