This individual will play a key role in managing municipal infrastructure projects, supporting long-term planning efforts, and strengthening client relationships across the region.The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, project leadership, and client-facing experience, along with a passion for mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative team environment.What You'll DoLead and manage municipal water and wastewater projects from planning through design and constructionOversee water and wastewater master planning studies, capital improvement planning efforts, and hydraulic modeling initiativesManage projects involving pump stations, lift stations, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, wells, and related infrastructureServe as a trusted advisor to municipal clients and maintain strong relationshipsProvide leadership and guidance to project engineers and design staffReview plans, specifications, reports, schedules, and budgetsMentor junior engineers and support their professional developmentSupport business development efforts and identify opportunities for additional work with existing and prospective clientsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplineActive Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain Colorado licensure within six months10+ years of water and wastewater engineering experienceExperience managing municipal infrastructure projectsStrong background in one or more of the following:Water modelingWastewater modelingMaster planningCapital improvement planningPump stations and lift stationsUtility infrastructure designStrong communication and relationship-building skillsProven ability to lead projects and mentor technical staffPreferred ExperienceMunicipal consulting experienceExisting municipal relationships within ColoradoExperience working in both consulting and public-sector environmentsFamiliarity with WaterCAD, SewerCAD, EPANET, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Aquanuity, or similar toolsCompensation:$125,000 - $170,000+ DOEIf you're ready to join a respected engineering firm where people stay, clients return, and careers thrive, we'd love to connect with you.
