Project ManagerWe are partnering with a well-established commercial flooring contractor to identify a Project Manager responsible for overseeing commercial flooring projects from preconstruction through final completion.This is a hybrid, client-facing role based in the Tyler, Texas market that requires regular travel to local job sites and collaboration with general contractors, architects, designers, manufacturers, and field personnel. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a solid understanding of commercial flooring systems, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects while maintaining schedules, budgets, and customer satisfaction.This opportunity offers the chance to lead all aspects of project execution, including material procurement, scheduling, field coordination, and client communication while working closely with leadership to deliver successful commercial flooring projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage commercial flooring projects from contract award through project closeoutReview proposals, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents to determine project requirementsDevelop project schedules, performance timelines, and delivery milestonesProcess submittals, shop drawings, and project documentationCoordinate material procurement, tracking, and delivery for contract projectsWork with contractors, architects, designers, and manufacturers to resolve scheduling, product, and project-related issuesReview project scope, specifications, and identify material requirements and quantitiesOversee moisture testing in accordance with ASTM 2170 standardsMonitor project schedules and ensure all scope changes are properly documented and approvedTrack project milestones, financial performance, and provide status reports to managementServe as the primary liaison between general contractors and field operationsUtilize Measure Square software to prepare and verify material quantity takeoffsVisit job sites to verify measurements, floor preparation requirements, and project progressMentor and oversee field superintendents while supporting successful project executionMaintain project management software and related project documentationIdeal BackgroundCommercial flooring project management experience preferredStrong understanding of commercial flooring products, installation methods, and construction practicesExperience reviewing blueprints, specifications, and construction documentsKnowledge of project scheduling, material procurement, and field coordinationExperience working with general contractors, architects, designers, and manufacturer representativesProficiency with Measure Square or similar estimating software preferredStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to successfully manage multiple commercial projects simultaneouslyValid driver's license with the ability to travel to local job sitesWhat We're Looking ForWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented commercial flooring professional who can successfully manage projects from planning through completion while maintaining strong relationships with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
