Project Manager - Mechanical Construction

Location: Sterling, VA (On-site, Flexible Hours)

Salary: Up to $140,000 Base + Bonus

A leading mechanical contractor generating approximately $800M in annual revenue is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing Northern Virginia team.


Specializing in HVAC, piping, and design-build construction, the company delivers projects across data centers, mission-critical facilities, commercial, and industrial infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical construction projects, overseeing budgets, schedules, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with field personnel, subcontractors, BIM teams, and general contractors.
  • Manage submittals, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Build strong client relationships and communicate effectively across project teams.
  • Collaborate with fabrication and construction teams to improve project efficiency.


Requirements

  • Project Management experience within mechanical contracting, HVAC, piping, or MEP construction.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical construction processes and project financials.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • General contractor backgrounds considered with relevant mechanical experience.
  • Degree not required; practical experience is prioritized.
