SummaryThe Project Manager - Product Industrialization supports Industrialization efforts in product creation and lifecycle projects, driving supply chain strategy and material flow, as the link between Innovation (R&D) and Operations. Acting in the Lead Supply Chain role, this position is responsible for coordinating all supply chain functions within the project, ensuring that supply chain decisions are made in a structured and timely manner. It involves engaging relevant stakeholders and adhering to both the global supply chain strategy and Belimo’s processes for product creation (PCP) and product / process changes (PPC). They will coordinate projects with Manufacturing Excellence (Lead Make) and Equipment Engineering (Lead Equipment) resources, ensuring cost, timeline, and logistic objectives are met.What You'll DoLead end-to-end supply chain design and implementation across projects and product life cycle, embedding all inputs into a structured decision-making processLead industrialization as a core team member in product creation projects representing Lead Supply Chain (Industrialization) goalsServe as project manager for lifecycle projects, owning the planning, management, deliverables, and CAPEX in the projectConsult with Innovation & PMO in the product creation process as well as to the supply chain steering committeeLead and motivate the Industrialization project team consisting of the roles Lead Make, Lead Equipment, Lead Planning, and Lead SourcingPerform supply chain feasibility, gap, and risk analysesDefine and implement the supply chain concept and strategy for the projectEnable footprint decisions (regions/plants), including make-or-buy and single-vs-multiple sourcing, based on interdisciplinary alignmentStructure products, regions, and volumes from a broad strategy and translate them into optimized product architecture and variant treesDefine project stakeholder requirements and architectural drivers to guide product engineeringInfluence product design based on supply chain capabilitiesValidate product concepts (mock-ups) and product designs (prototypes) against supply chain requirementsPlan and validate allocation of production and customization capacitiesCreate the end-to-end product journey with input from Lead Make resourcesOversee supplier selection within project for components and modules including requirements to suppliersDefine requirements for processes, equipment, and quality in manufacturing with input from respective teamsInvolve packaging engineering for end-to-end packaging and labelingLead the ramp-up of production capacities (materialization) across internal and external suppliers (incl. alpha-, beta- & pilot-series builds)Lead or support other activities of the manufacturing engineering roadmap (cost optimization, automation, transfers, integration)Who You AreBS in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical)Further education in project management (certification is a plus)3+ years of experience in product development and industrialization of devices and/or development of supply chain strategy3+ years of experience in interdisciplinary project management within a company manufacturing mass-produced goodsExperienced with task & project management tools (e.g. Sciforma, Jira, Confluence)Experience with supply chain management/strategy developmentExperience in device development, device manufacturing, and the development of manufacturing equipmentAbility to bring clarity in what needs to be achieved and to ensure focusAbility to motivate and guide a teamAbility to influence, mediate, organize and delegate across hierarchy and divisionsActs as catalyst for good teamwork by demonstrating humility, drive, and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to share knowledge, receive feedback, and collaborate well with othersContributes knowledge in development of state-of-the-art manufacturing engineering standardsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishWho We AreAt Belimo, we take pride in making our company a rewarding place to work. The base pay for this position ranges from $95,000 - $110,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee’s annual base salary.

Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
