Project ManagerProject Manager – Bit of experience in managing high dollar projects. 1-5 MM, 100% capital. Manage to internal processes, stage gate/project lifecycle process. Understanding of scope, budgets/financials, project scheduling, any utility/gas experience would be very nice to see.

Oil/gas, electric. Regulated experience. Working with fixed assets. 5-7 years of experience.Based at Lipan – Denver, CO – Hybrid scheduleProject Overview, deliverables (what is this person responsible for).

Manages capital improvement projects for Xcel Energy's gas system, specifically non-pipeline assets such as regulator stations, odorization facilities, compressor stations, and other fixed assets. Responsible for overseeing full project life cycle from concept to close-out: funding requests, engineering coordination, stakeholder engagement, procurement (quotes, POs, vendors), execution, and finalization. Projects include replacements, relocations, and upgrades.Managing project deliverables based on project phase. Regular coordination with internal teams (engineering, operations, SMEs, procurement) and external stakeholders (vendors, cities, municipalities).

No daily task assignment; PMs follow the project lifecycle and manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication.Communication and stakeholder management Project lifecycle management / organization Accountability and ability to drive timelines Budget adherence Coordination across multiple teams Communication, organization, accountability, and ability to drive progress across multiple workstreams Ideal: 5–7 years as a Project Manager (PM), preferably with gas utility experience. Combination of 2–3 years gas experience plus PM background is acceptable Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum). PMP certification.
