Project ManagerLocation: Northern IndianaWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of electrical substation construction projects supporting a major mission-critical data center development in Northern Indiana. This role will oversee all aspects of substation design coordination, construction, commissioning, and turnover, ensuring safe, reliable, and on-schedule delivery of high-voltage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical utility or substation projects and the ability to manage complex technical scopes, multiple stakeholders, and high-value infrastructure installations in fast-paced construction environments.Responsibilities:Manage full project lifecycle for electrical substation construction from preconstruction through commissioning and closeoutOversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution of substation scopesCoordinate with utilities, engineers, EPC contractors, and construction teamsManage high-voltage equipment installation including transformers, switchgear, breakers, protection systems, and associated infrastructureOversee civil, structural, and electrical interface scopes within the substation footprintEnsure compliance with utility standards, electrical codes, and safety requirementsLead project meetings and provide regular reporting to stakeholders and client representativesManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administrationSupport commissioning, testing, energization, and system startup activitiesIdentify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and budget performanceCoordinate closely with data center power requirements and utility interconnection teamsQualifications:5–10+ years of experience in electrical construction or utility infrastructure projectsStrong experience with electrical substations, transmission, or distribution systemsKnowledge of high-voltage systems, protection & control, and power distribution infrastructureExperience managing EPC contractors, utility companies, and multidisciplinary project teamsStrong understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and project management principlesFamiliarity with commissioning and energization processes for substation projectsExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferredPreferred Backgrounds:Candidates may come from utility companies, EPC contractors, electrical contractors, or infrastructure firms delivering high-voltage transmission and substation projects.Experience supporting data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large industrial power systems is highly desirable.What We're Looking For:We are seeking a technically strong and delivery-focused Project Manager who can take ownership of complex electrical substation projects from inception through energization.
