It supports systems like ArcGIS, SQL Server, and cloud platforms such as Azure. NISC also leads data governance efforts and provides tools for both internal and public-facing applications. The contractor will support data management tasks, including database administration, GIS support, data integration, reporting, and working directly with stakeholders, using modern technologies in a hybrid Agile environment.Skills:Project planning and coordination using Agile or hybrid methodologiesTeam leadership and stakeholder communicationFamiliarity with enterprise data systems, data governance, and geospatial platformsProficiency in Azure DevOps, JIRA, Microsoft Project, and similar PM toolsQualificationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact responsible for managing all contract work.Lead project planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery using hybrid Agile project management methods.Coordinate and conduct weekly status meetings and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders.Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan, including milestones, deliverables, and timelines.Submit meeting notes, monthly reports, and other documentation as required by NPS.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and manage evolving technical and data requirements.Oversee and support the design, development, and testing of ETL processes, data models, and technical solutions.Monitor ongoing operations, including defect resolution, performance tracking, and maintenance activities.Ensure effective database administration, access control, and compliance with NPS security policies.Manage transition activities during contract startup and closeout, including knowledge transfer, contingency planning, and access revocation.Support communication between the technical team and business units to keep project execution aligned with mission needs.ExperienceRelated scientific or technical discipline and five years’ experience as a Project Manager.
