Senior Project ManagerCACI is looking for a Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, coordinating, and management of cost, schedule and performance of all aspects of complex engineering projects and tasks related to Zero Trust. The Project Manager will serve as the technical point of contact for the Program Manager directly contributing to program efforts in several areas including schedule, deliverable status updates, and risk identification and mitigation.Responsibilities:Assist the Program Manager with allocation of resourcesDirect and mentor project team members to provide effective and efficient technical deliverables and engineering plansDocument system and process project improvementsProvide analysis of operational objectives and draft plans to meet outcomesReview risk and risk mitigation activities and provide mitigation strategies and plansDevelop Work Breakdown structures, Project Plans, and Project Schedules and MilestonesProvide detailed tracking of project requirementsManage personnel management of technical project teamsProject Ownership and Accountability: Demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities by independently driving tasks to completion, following through on tasking, proactively solving issues, and ensuring project outcomes are metPlanning and Leadership: Effectively plan, prioritize, coordinate, and execute project activities while anticipating risks, tracking action items, and ensuring timely completion of deliverablesLeadership and Team Management: Effectively lead and coordinate the team by assigning work appropriately, providing clear direction, encouraging collaboration, and resolving routine personnel and performance issues at the appropriate level without unnecessary management interventionCommunication and Reporting: Provide accurate, timely, and complete status reportingMission Knowledge: Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the mission, systems, terminology, and operational processes necessary to effectively lead the program and communicate credibly with the customer and teamQualifications: Required:University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years related work experience.8 years of experience conducting technical requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting for technical projects and contracts of similar size, scope, and complexityBachelor Degree from an accredited college or university6 years of additional program management experience of similar scope, type, and complexity with the Federal Government may be substituted for a Bachelor's degreeProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or Defense Acquisition Workflow Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 3 certification in Program ManagementDesired:Expert communication and presentation skillsWhat You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
