We are supporting a growing environmental consulting firm seeking an experienced Project Geologist or Environmental Scientist to join its Seattle-area team. This role will support environmental investigation and remediation projects across the Pacific Northwest, with a strong focus on federal and DoD clients , including work associated with NAVFAC Northwest .
Support CERCLA, RCRA, UST, and environmental restoration projects Prepare and contribute to technical documents including Preliminary Assessments, Site Investigations, RI/FS reports, work plans, monitoring reports, and remedial action documentation Conduct and oversee soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water, and soil-gas investigations Coordinate drilling, monitoring well installation, sampling, and subcontractor activities Evaluate environmental data and support site characterization, conceptual site models, and remedial decision-making Support remediation system installation, operation, monitoring, and optimization Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables Coordinate with clients, regulators, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams Support periodic field travel throughout Washington and Alaska
7–12 years of environmental consulting or remediation experience
Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, USTs, contaminated-site investigation, or remediation
Experience preparing technical environmental reports and regulatory documentation
Experience with drilling oversight, monitoring wells, soil logging, and environmental sampling preferred
Washington Licensed Geologist preferred, but not required
Hybrid working model, generally 3 days in office / up to 2 days remote
Periodic travel to project sites in Washington and Alaska
