Project ExecutiveThe Project Executive provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for construction, project management, and project administration activities across multiple projects in Seattle, WA. This role drives project performance, client satisfaction, and profitability while supporting the implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and overall business objectives.Duties & ResponsibilitiesExecutive Leadership & Oversight Provide day-to-day leadership for construction, project management, and project administration teamsGuide multiple projects and teams through pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction phasesLead project mobilization and ensure proper staffing, tools, and resource allocationRecruit, train, mentor, and supervise project personnelClient & Relationship Management Strengthen client relationships through exceptional service and successful project deliveryAttend and participate in meetings with clients, architects, and contractorsAssist clients in negotiating and drafting contracts for legal review and approvalIdentify and mitigate risks that may impact client operations or project performanceBusiness Development & Strategy Identify and pursue new business development opportunities within the industryCollaborate with Estimating and Purchasing during project setup to ensure profitability and optimal subcontractor selectionFormulate and negotiate contract terms and communicate project strategy clearly to teamsFinancial & Operational Management Review and approve project estimates, schedules, and monthly status reportsOversee subcontract bidding and negotiations in accordance with company protocolsApprove subcontracts and major material purchase ordersEnsure cost control systems are established and maintainedMaintain positive cash flow and ensure timely progress paymentsReview assigned project BFRs and management reports, including fee goal updatesPolicy & Compliance Ensure implementation and adherence to company policies and proceduresConfirm scheduling procedures and project controls are properly executedPromote professional and fair subcontractor and vendor relationships across all project teamsTeam Development Mentor and coach project team membersEstablish annual performance goals for direct reports and support professional development initiativesQualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field10+ years of experience supervising or assisting with increasingly complex construction projectsSkills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyStrong financial and operational acumenExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to perform effectively under pressure while coordinating diverse teamsPhysical Requirements Traverse active construction sites and uneven terrainClimb ladders and temporary stairwaysConduct visual inspections of construction quality and materialsPerform jobsite walks to monitor progress and eliminate safety hazardsBenefitsCompensation Salary range: $195,000 – $295,000 annually (companywide range)Annual discretionary bonus based on company profitability and performanceHealth & Insurance Medical, dental, and vision insurance (PPO and High Deductible/HSA plan options)Company contribution to HSACompany-paid short- and long-term disabilityCompany-paid life insurance and AD&DTime Off Untracked/unmeasured vacationSick leave accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours worked (up to 80-hour annual carryover)9 paid holidays annuallyPaid parental leaveRetirement & Ownership 401(k) with company match (100% match on first 3%, 50% match on next 2% — up to 4% total match)Immediate 100% vesting on all contributionsTraditional (pre-tax) and Roth (post-tax) contribution options availableEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 100% company-funded after 1 year of service (minimum 1,000 hours)Additional Perks Vehicle or vehicle allowanceFuel card and toll pass
