nWe offer the flexibility to work from home or in an office environment on your own terms. Braun Intertec is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our Renewable Energy Team, with a primary focus on power and renewable energy development.
nThis position manages moderate to complex geotechnical projects specifically related to power and renewable energy development by providing the technical expertise required to exceed client expectations.
nResponsibilities
nDevelop scopes of work and prepare proposals for moderate to complex geotechnical engineering projects, primarily in the power and renewable energy field.
nPrepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.
nReview field logs and soil samples for classification and boring log preparation.
nPerform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies.
nMake geotechnical recommendations and prepares engineering reports for senior review.
nManage routine to complex geotechnical engineering projects including project scope, schedule, budget, and safety.
nWork independently on specific assignments of limited scope with Senior review.
nPerform quality review of work performed by assigned staff; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects.
nCoordinate with regional operations to effectively coordinate staff, resources, and workloads.
nEnsure client expectations are met or exceeded.
nSupport client relationships to effectively achieve wind market sector goals and strategies.
nAs needed, perform various field testing and observations.
nAs needed, assist field operations with technician training and review.
nMust be action oriented, able to effectively/efficiently manage time, and able to learn quickly.
nRequired Skills

nRequired Experience:
nBachelor's degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering field required.
nProfessional Engineer registration/licensure or ability to obtain within two years.
nFive or more years of construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering experience preferred, but not required.
nPrevious experience with large scale construction projects preferred.
nMust have a valid driver's license
nAbility to travel up to 15% of time
