Job Duties
nBraun Intertec is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our Bloomington, Minnesota, office. This position manages moderate to highly complex geotechnical projects by providing technical expertise required to exceed client expectations.
nResponsibilities:
nDevelop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings
nLeadership of a technical or project related team
nPrepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
nDevelop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions
nManage projects (scope, schedule, budget)
nPerform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards
nMentor junior level engineering staff
nUnderstand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies

nRequired Experience:
nBachelor's degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering required
nMaster's degree (MS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering preferred
nSix or more years of geotechnical engineering experience
nExperience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading a team preferred
nProfessional Engineer registration/licensure in MN, or ability to attain within 6 months
nAbility to lift up to 30 to 50 pounds on a periodic basis
