Primary markets are metro-Denver and Colorado ski areas.Primary Responsibilities: Assists project manager in all aspects of the construction management process including, but not limited to:Project ProcurementQuantity surveysAid in pricing alternatesPrepare and develop scopes of work, bid packages, comparison sheets, contracts, etc., necessary for subcontractorsAssist in the preparation, negotiation, development and management of contract administration functionsAssist in development of project budgets and schedulesNegotiate subcontract and material purchasesProject planningAssisting with preparation and maintenance of the project schedule and cost systemSchedule updatesMaterial handling and storagePlan job logisticsMobilize trailersArrange for utilities, water, sewer, power, telephonesObtain building permits, licenses, etc.Project operationsPlan specification reviewAssists team with shop drawings, samples, product data (i.e., plans and specs)Set up logs consisting of subcontractors and suppliers to assist team in acquiring the followingInsurance certificatesContractsApplications for paymentMaterial deliveryDevelop and ensure compliance with quality control planParticipate in project coordination meetings, prepare meeting minutesTracking progressChange management – responsible for setting up, issuing documentation, pricing and change administrationSubcontract administration – defining scope of work, answering inquiries, monitoring progress, tracking and processing back chargesof temporary facilities and inspectionsProcure and expedite materialEquipment deliveryInventory control – Monitoring and tracking of equipment and resourcesCoordinate subcontractorsCoordinating and reviewing of drawings, submissions, specifications, changes and document controlMake sure that field questions are resolved with designers and consultantsAssist in field operations as deemed necessary by project manager and superintendentAssist superintendent in safety and quality control of projectDesigningProject closeoutComplete punch listRemove equipment, trailers, etc.Occupancy permitsSubmit required guarantees and warranteesSubmit as-built drawingsFinalize subcontractsMaintain excellent relations with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors and publicLiaison with building authorities and regulatory agenciesApplicants must currently reside in the Denver metropolitan area.
