Program AnalystBering-Alaka`ina Holdings (BAH) has a potential need for a Program Analyst to support Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) and 4th Marine Logistics in New Orleans, LA.Description Of Responsibilities:Collect and compile Lessons Learned from geographically dispersed Marine Reserve units across the countryCoach and mentor units in After Action Report (AAR) production and best practicesCapture mobilization and demobilization Lessons Learned to improve future activation cyclesSupport Reserve training events, annual training periods, and drill weekends to observe and collect Lessons LearnedCoordinate with 4th Marine Division units and Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) staff on Lessons Learned requirements and processesDevelop and maintain Lessons Learned collection tools and templates tailored to Reserve training cyclesAnalyze Reserve-specific trends and challenges to identify systemic issues and opportunities for improvementFacilitate virtual and in-person Lessons Learned working groups with geographically dispersed unitsPrepare reports, briefings, and presentations on Reserve Lessons Learned for Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) leadershipMaintain Lessons Learned databases and tracking systems specific to Reserve operations and trainingSupport integration of Reserve Lessons Learned with active component lessons learned programsOther duties as assigned by Supervisor.Required Degree/Education/Certification:Bachelors Degree or higher.
Education may be substituted with greater experience and/or certificationsCompletion of Command and Staff College or equivalent Intermediate Level Education (ILE) preferred.Derivative ClassificationRequired Skills And Experience:At least ten (10) years of experience serving in the US Military, with a strong preference for service in the Marine Corps. Twelve (12)+ years of experience required if substituting experience for education. Substituted experience may be a combination of military service, DoD civilian, or DoD contractor in similar role(s).Experience in a combat arms, logistics, supply, or operations MOS or serving in a battalion staff level position.Prior experience conducting in-depth research and complete and definitive analysis, documenting lessons learned, developing and writing military quality reports to include situational reports, developing planning documents and proposals, and creating presentations.Experience developing lessons learned questionaires and conducting interviews, or similar types of documentation and analysis.Ability to communicate and interface with Military leaders and commanders at all levels.Ability to work independently and proactively, build rapport with end users, customers, and unit leaders in order to develop effective working relationshipsStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skills and strong analytical skills. Strong MircoSoft Office, 365, and SharePoint skills.Preferred Skills And Experience:Ability to adapt to changing working environments and operational temposAdvanced understanding of military tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP)Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM), Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals.Required Citizenship And Clearance:Must be a U.S. CitizenMust have an active Secret clearance.Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings (BAH) is a fast-growing government service provider.
