Production SupervisorLocation: Springfield, OH Schedule: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Overtime: Fridays as needed (6:00 AM – 12:00 PM or up to 2:00 PM) Compensation: $55,000 – $70,000 per yearJob SummaryWe are seeking a Production Supervisor for a manufacturing facility in Springfield, Ohio. This role is responsible for supervising production and/or material handling staff and may involve both manufacturing and warehouse operations. The Production Supervisor will lead teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals while driving continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive department workflow to ensure quality results and on-time deliverySupervise assigned employees, including: work assignments, team motivation and engagement, hiring, training, cross-training, performance reviews, and terminationsLead process improvement and change initiativesMaintain accurate Pulse and Hour-to-Hour boards, ensuring follow-up on misses and resolution of issuesCommunicate effectively with employees, peers, managers, and support groupsPromote and enforce workplace safety, including training, investigations, corrective actions, and safe work practicesSupport Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as: 5S, Kaizen events, Lean projects focused on waste eliminationPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills & CompetenciesDemonstrated ability to lead people and deliver resultsHands-on leadership styleProficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong verbal, written, and presentation communication skillsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesKnowledge of ISO quality standards, OSHA regulations, and Lean Manufacturing principlesExperience with SAP is a plusEducation & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
