Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor production supervisors and team members in the implementation of safe manufacturing practices, ensuring awareness of product-related hazards and fostering a culture of accountability
- Optimize production schedules to maximize operational efficiency while effectively controlling labor costs
- Coordinate production requirements with support service teams, including changeovers, preventive maintenance, material planning, and waste management for current and upcoming production schedules
- Communicate and escalate quality and safety concerns across all levels of the organization to ensure timely investigation, resolution, and corrective action
- Champion and actively participate in plant-wide safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure all products consistently meet Safety, Quality, and Regulatory (SQR) standards
- Ensure compliance with established programs, policies, and procedures to produce safe, high-quality food products that meet all regulatory and company requirements
- Supervise, develop, and coach direct reports by setting performance expectations, conducting evaluations, and providing ongoing feedback and support
- Perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Requirements:
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of department operations and procedures
- Ability to understand complex verbal and written instructions
- Working TPM knowledge
