Production SupervisorFull-time Kent, WA Exclusive confidential search — details shared with qualified applicants.Become a Key Player as a Production SupervisorYou will lead day-to-day production operations to meet customer and organizational requirements, supervising and developing a manufacturing team and driving process stability and continuous improvement. You will work onsite on a swing shift (10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday) and partner with engineering, HR, and cross-functional stakeholders to launch product, meet capacity plans, and improve quality and safety.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamSupervise and direct work activity of team members in the assigned production areaTrain, mentor, coach, and develop team members, including creating and executing individual development plansDelegate work assignments, conduct performance appraisals, and administer disciplinary proceduresIdentify continuous improvement opportunities and lead Lean/Kaizen events to reduce waste and costsDevelop and deploy standardized work instructions and ensure process stabilityPerform root cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions for quality issuesPerform capacity analysis, determine staffing requirements, and troubleshoot scheduling/material issuesPromote and enforce safety policies; conduct safety investigations and auditsCoordinate new product launches with Engineering and communicate with customers as neededHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleBachelor's degree in Business, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Materials Process Engineering3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership abilitiesSolid understanding and practical experience with Kaizen and Lean principlesAbility to assess department health through data correlation and direct observationDemonstrated ability to identify and implement systemic improvement plansStrong problem-solving skills and ability to propose alternatives beyond historical practiceKnowledge of multiple leadership approaches and ability to apply them to develop individuals and teamsProficient computer skills and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsPay Range$87,050 - $145,250/yearReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
