Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.2nd Shift will run 3PM - 1:30 AM.What You Will Experience In This Position:Directly lead production employees, including training, directing, conducting performance reviews, educating, and mentoring on performance.Look after day-to-day production activities to ensure that current commitments are achieved while improvements are being made.Handle daily performance through the use of process center communication boards daily.Be a change agent and drive out waste throughout the manufacturing operation through the deployment of the Lean methodology.Ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions, and supports nVent's safety programs.Review and submit payroll hours on a weekly basis, entering exception hours as needed.Support new process and product development and implementation.Develops key improvement projects and fulfills related duties as needed.You Have:High school diploma or G.E.DIdeally 3 plus years manufacturing experience, with a preference for manufacturing leadership experience preferredIdeally 2+ years of experience in Lean manufacturing, with a strong ability to articulate and apply Lean concepts and methodologies.We Have:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every dayCommitment to strengthen communities where our employees live and workCore values that shape our culture and drive us to deliver the best for our employees and our customers. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:$62,900.00 - $116,900.00Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.Benefit OverviewAt nVent, we value our people and their health and well-being.
