Production PlannerThe production planner is responsible for creating and maintaining product records to ensure accurate work orders are produced. They work closely with the production team to make sure all records are updated accordingly and are accurate for scheduling. The production planner is also responsible for releasing, printing, and managing work orders before sending to the production floor.Key responsibilities:Convert sales orders into work orders for productionPrint work orders and prepare job packetsDouble check orders within department for accuracyWork with customer care teamWork with pre-press teamBuild the bill of materials for products/itemsSet the routings for jobs to run in productionIdentify missing or incorrect information and work with appropriate department on resolutionUpdate product information as requiredCollect and report department specific KPIsWork with production teamBasic Qualifications:3+ years of experience in production planningStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office and production planning software
