Production OperatorPay Rate: $22.20/hr Work Schedule: 12-hour shift (5:00pm – 5:30am, Friday through Sunday – 3 days per week)Position SummaryThe Production Operator is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment to transform raw materials into finished goods while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role performs routine tasks and basic troubleshooting in a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery and equipment according to established procedures to produce finished goods from raw materials.Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials used and update logs or data sheets for materials in process.Perform in-process quality tests such as hardness, weight, variation, pH, and moisture content to ensure products meet required specifications.Recognize equipment malfunctions and product deficiencies, and assist with troubleshooting to maximize production efficiency.Follow blueprints, subassembly layouts, and schematics during production tasks.Maintain running records of orders received, work completed, and current inventory levels.Coordinate workloads, staffing, and equipment usage based on inventory and production requirements.Collaborate with materials planning, production, and maintenance teams to prepare and monitor master production schedules.Requisition materials as needed, based on production schedules and inventory levels.Skills & QualificationsAbility to acquire and apply basic job skills; little or no prior relevant training or experience required.Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.Good attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Job Scope & ComplexityWork assignments are routine and follow clearly defined procedures.Tasks involve repetitive duties with supervision and standard guidelines.
