Crane OperatorMaintain safety (including housekeeping), quality, and productivity to meet daily goalsCommunicate with other Crane Operators, Racking Team Leader, Un-racking Team Leader, Team Members, and Special Ops Department to maximize productivity and prioritize availabilityAcute attention to crane and affected work areasManage carrier flow throughout shiftComplete operation and mechanical inspections on crane and report/document any issuesDry parts as neededMaintain carrier flow between hold/overflow area, dryer, racking, strip line tank, un-racking area, and Special Ops by balancing availability and demandEtch and rinse carriers both empties and rework to predetermined specificationsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning.Pass all certifications, training, testing, and qualification requirementsCommunicate verbally and in written text with Supervisors, Team Lead, and Team MembersOperate all tools and equipment used in the crane operation processSimple arithmetic required (calculating load weights against crane restrictions, counting, adding, and multiplying piece counts)Distinguish safe stable loads from unsafe onesUnderstand and follow CRANE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONSAdjust plans as needed and requiredAssist in training of employees (in direct coordination with Leads, Supervisors, and Qualification Training Guides)Basic understanding of strip line, un-racking and racking requirementsMedium to heavy physical demand, frequent lifting, carrying parts, stooping, kneeling, balancing, reaching, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. Repetitive hand/wrist and arm movement is required.

Must have an acute awareness of conditions and hazards associated with the jobMust be able to lift parts up to 50lbs, and less frequently, parts up to 100lbs with help.
