Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Owner to lead the development and validation of smart device technologies in collaboration with a global Tier 1 customer. This role requires extensive expertise in IoT, consumer electronics, wearables, and embedded systems , with proven experience in managing product lifecycles, validation, and large-scale launches.

Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision & Roadmap: Define and drive the long-term strategy aligned with customer needs and market trends.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between R&D teams and the global Tier 1 customer.
- Backlog Ownership: Manage and prioritize features, user stories, and requirements.
- Agile Leadership: Drive Agile processes, sprint planning, and continuous improvement.
- Validation & Compliance: Oversee product testing and validation, ensuring compliance with global standards (FCC, CE, ISO, etc.).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams for on-time delivery.
- Customer Engagement: Present product demos and updates to executives, incorporating feedback into future iterations.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Identify risks, manage dependencies, and resolve blockers.
- Lifecycle Management: Own the product lifecycle from concept through post-launch.
- Performance Reporting: Deliver executive-level reporting on KPIs and development progress.
Technical Expertise
- 20+ years in smart device/IoT/consumer electronics/wearables/automotive .
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, wireless protocols (BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi), firmware, and HW-SW integration .
- Proven expertise in validation/testing processes and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) .
- Experience with cloud platforms, AI integration, and emerging smart device technologies .
Leadership & Strategic Skills
- Proven ability to lead global product teams and manage complex, cross-functional projects.
- Strong communication skills to engage executives, customers, and technical teams .
- Demonstrated success in customer-centric product strategies .
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
Experience
- 20+ years as a Product Owner / Technical Program Manager / Product Manager in smart devices.
- Track record working with Tier 1 global customers .
- Expertise in validation, QA, and regulatory-compliant product launches .
- Familiarity with wearables, AR/VR, sensors, and system-level integration .
Preferred Qualifications
- CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or equivalent.
- Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field .
- Experience leading large-scale product portfolios aligned to global trends.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, voice assistants, and connected ecosystems .
