Job TitleThis is an individual contributor role at this time and may expand to have formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.Job DescriptionThe candidate in this role:Be responsible for their product and all strategic and tactical work associated with designing and delivering the products within scope of responsibility.Be comfortable working with data scientists in developing hypotheses, reviewing inferences, and analyze customer and market trends.Be responsible for managing a highly dynamic and customized product nuances to ensure that they deliver maximum value.Serve the "voice" of the customer translating customer needs to the Agile team by properly codifying intent, sizing work efforts, prioritizing needs, and summarizing issuesBe the single point of contact in a dynamic environment across global customer base and effectively manage external and internal stakeholders.Will develop, manage, and own the product roadmap for highly dynamic, high touch, high visibility cross functional products.Analyze and help engineering teams with clarity in requirements, priority and manage delivery expectations across stakeholders and executive teams.Builds and leverages solid working relationships with business and product stakeholders, UI/UX, architecture, and technology teams to facilitate product and customer successProduct Planning and PrioritizationLeads the product planning process by overseeing the development of requirements for products or product releasesMaintains a prioritized backlog based on defined customer value, aligning with product strategy and resource capacity; uses data and analytics to prioritize the product backlog appropriatelyProduct Development & LaunchFacilitates the development process by reviewing demos with the technology team and validating acceptance criteria for multiple large, cross functional and/or highly dynamic, customized and complex productsIdentifies issues that will keep their products from delivering on time or at the right level of quality, assesses alternatives to resolve, builds a plan for resolution, and directly resolves or communicates to leadershipLeads product launches by working with relevant stakeholders to develop launch plansOperateIdentifies new and innovative methods and metrics for tracking product success, works with the technology team to improve reports and monitoringTracks performance trends and gathers customer feedback to determine product domain-level gaps or development opportunitiesRepresents team in product group-level discussions with stakeholders. Attends business reviews, providing critical input and expert insights to inform the development of new productsEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with business stakeholders, designers, engineers, and other partners in a collaborative environment to create strategic, product roadmaps. Oversees this activity for Product Managers or groups of Product Managers.Cross function collaboration with Data Product Managers to ensure data related features or user stories are well definedLeads business reviews to ensure that the team prioritizes the right work and delivers the most customer value in the fastest time possibleDraws upon customer insights to drive the software product vision and direction; Provides oversight for teams performing this role.Defines software solutions that CBRE's technical teams can deliver on the most complex or largest solutions.Represents the customer to the technical teams, answering questions about client expectations.Uses technical and product expertise to prioritize deliverables and manage backlog of requests.

Owns the product backlog for the most complex products.Facilitates discussions, user story development and refinement, and testing and validation; contributes to roadblocks resolution and decision making.Oversees these activities for group of Product Managers.Provides regular updates; manages executive stakeholder communication and reporting or oversees this process for a group of Product Managers.Acts as a single point of contact for ongoing support and services.Oversees a group of product managers who sort and prioritize needs, engages various technical teams, routes requests to the correct owners, and ensures support is provided to internal or external satisfaction.Actively engages in Agile process, including daily scrum sessions, demos, and testing activities, as well as training and change management activities, as needed.Oversees and improves these processes in coordination with Scrum Master.Manages changes to features and communication to ensure there is clear indication of what is required for each release.Oversees this process for group of Product Managers.Assists the team in sizing and breaking down Epic into a manageable size to accommodate the release cadence. Writes user stories and cases, as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field of work or equivalent work experience.Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes.Typically has 10 plus years of relevant work experience, including previous experience leading a project.Experience with Agile software developmentExperience working cross-functionally in a large organizationExperience providing guidance and direction to cross-functional resourcesExperience translating data into quantifiable actions/deliverableProven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with an extreme attention to detailExperience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlinesCertificates and/or LicensesProduct Management or Design Thinking or Analytics is a plusCommunication SkillsAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents.Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.Ability to manage multiple products and multiple product managers.Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients and/or public groups.Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees and client groups to take desired action.Financial KnowledgeRequires advanced and in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.Conducts advanced financial analysis. Translates high-level specifications for software components into program specifications.Estimates time against completing the program specifications.Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations of significance to the operation.Other Skills and AbilitiesExperience working with Data Scientists and Data Engineers is preferred.Scope of ResponsibilityDecisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines.
