nIn the Product Engineer II role, you will participate and contribute in the development and/or application of Company products with impact on the corporation through knowledge and application of engineering and filtration principles.
nQualified candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN office.
nRole Responsibilities:
nEngineer engine liquid filtration products that are manufacturable and within project design guidelines to maintain or improve the company's product leadership position in the industry.
nLead weekly customer meetings, recognize customer input and translate needs into high quality products.
nDevelop DVP&R plans and coordinate the validation of designs.
nLead projects through a stage-gate product development process in support of meeting product performance, reliability, cost and project schedule goals.
nClearly and concisely communicate technical results orally and in written format for appropriate company, customer, and vendor use.
nSupport engineering development and the implementation of continuous improvement projects to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of current products.
nTravel: Up to 15%
nMinimum Qualifications:
nBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a related engineering field
nTwo years of experience in engineering or product development
nPreferred Qualifications:
nDemonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage through competing projects efficiently with good attention to detail
nDemonstrated ability to present and communicate technical concepts
nProficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
nFundamental knowledge of diesel engine operation
nPlastic injection molding or die casting
nFiltration knowledge/experience
nFluid mechanics or CFD experience
nLean six-sigma experience
nAnnual Salary Range : $71,900 - $91,700 annually. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
