Experience in automotive testing and reliability is required. The engineer must be willing to share responsibility for the Ford environmental test strategy and requirements for Electronic modules. Maintaining these test requirements and adapting them to meet corporate reliability strategy will be required. Additionally, the engineer must support the application of these requirements by address questions from teams working to implement them, review test plans, and review test results.Skills required:Worst-case Circuit Analysis:Understanding the application of the analysis and how it applies to the larger reliability and test strategy.Reliability engineering:Understanding of reliability concepts, such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMECA), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), and stress/derating analysis.Requirements management:Understanding the requirement meaning for an application.
